We Rise

Our students are regularly taken outside of their comfort zone, and challenged through experiences both inside and outside of the classroom. This occurs through service learning, retreats, overseas immersions, and our outdoor education program that begins in Year 4. The program is sequential in nature and strives to build on past experiences. 

These experiences inspire positive relationships which are integral to the wellbeing of self, community, and our natural world. Our program encourages students to step outside their comfort zone, redefine their personal possibilities, gain confidence and think critically while fostering a team ethic when working with others. 

The core program is adventure-based and focuses on experiential education. Each experience has clear objectives for each year level, and is designed to match the physical and emotional maturity of the group. Our students develop a spirit of camaraderie with their peers which they take with them into their adult life. 

Our outdoor education program is the cornerstone for the holistic education that we provide at St Catherine’s Catholic College, as we educate our students to be confident young adults upon graduation.
